We’ve purpose-limited our platform to discussing coaching tasks alone. This reduces potential exposure to unintended outputs and drives a superior and focused user experience.
Regular human-in-the-loop review by AI experts and certified coaching professionals ensures that coaching is effective and any output issues are rapidly identified and addressed.
Nadia has safety guardrails designed in collaboration with coaching scientists to ensure that conversations on restricted topics are rerouted to the right internal resource, customizable to each partner that we work with.
Rigorous third-party assessments ensure we protect against AI threats such as prompt injection, jailbreaking, data poisoning and overreliance.
Private
Our enterprise partners own their own data. Employee coaching conversations remain confidential, and we never utilize user data for AI model training.
We have Zero Data Retention policies in place with our sub-processors and no data is used to train any underlying AI models.
Our focus on user privacy means individual user interactions remain confidential, with aggregated, anonymized reporting data provided. Managers cannot see individual coaching conversations.

We hold the triple certification stack: SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, and ISO 42001 — the international standard for responsible AI management systems. We are the only AI coaching platform certified across all three. We are also fully GDPR compliant and adhere to evolving AI regulations, including the EU AI Act.
We utilize external auditors to annually validate our safeguards for customer data and ensure operational integrity. Pen test reports are available upon request.
Data can be stored in US or EU regions depending on client requirements. We provide full transparency on where data physically lives and who has access.

We support SAML-based SSO, SCIM provisioning, RBAC, and enforced SSO policies. Magic Link Authentication is also available to streamline login processes and prevent attacks.
Valence encrypts data at rest (AES-256 via KMS) and in transit (TLS 1.2+), with data isolated to a single tenant.
We follow documented security practices including third-party audits, security trainings, regular penetration tests, and access reviews.
